My name is Lindsay. I'm twenty-two years old. I'm Florida born and bred, and a true Floridian at heart (anything colder than 75 degrees is freezing in my opinion). I was raised in the lovely South Floridian city of Parkland, a quaint and upscale residential area teetering on the Boca Raton border. In 2004, I moved up to Central Florida (see: the Orlando area) for college purposes (and I hate Orlando with a passion, to put it mildly). My fiance and I are now back living in beautiful Parkland where we rent a small apartment while we're searching for our first home.
I graduated from Valencia Community College in Orlando with an AA degree in English. Afterwards, I attended The Crealde School of Art in Winter Park, Florida, where I studied photography. Attending art school was a total dream. I worked through college at a Barnes & Noble up in the Orlando area where I was head cashier. I currently work as a client service representative at a large general practice and specialty animal hospital here in South Florida.
I'm most often described by others as "an old soul", and I admit that this is pretty accurate. My nights are quiet and my idea of the perfect day consists of baking cupcakes and watching The Waltons. If you ask anyone I know, they'll also dub me as the token crazy cat lady. Pet rescue has always been a huge part of my life. I believe in animal rights and welfare above all else in the world. My biggest pet peeve is when people speak about animals as if their lives are worth less than that of a human being. My fiance and I are proud parents to a wonderful brood of furchildren who we love unconditionally with our whole hearts. We're also very active in feral cat care, TNR (trap, neuter, return) and feline leukemia research, awareness and rescue.
I have found a new love affair with baking (especially cupcakes!), and I tend to bake more often than I should. I have a big heart, which tends to rarely result in anything good, and an open mind. I'm an atheist, but believe it's truly impossible to shed the cultural aspect of Judaism. I consider being "Jewish" a mere part of my heritage and who I am, even though I don't accept the religion itself. Photography is one of my favorite hobbies, and I'm never seen without my beloved Nikon D80 around my neck. I believe in both liberalism and good personism and nothing short of either.

I've been dating my fiance, Aaron, since January 17th, 2002. We met on my very first day of 10th grade and his very first day of 11th grade. Since then, we've been completely inseparable. Growing up alongside my "high school sweetheart" has been such a irreplaceable and perfect experience. Upon his 2003 high school graduation, Aaron came up to Orlando to attend The University of Central Florida, which explains just why I followed suite after my high school graduation. We've lived together ever since.
On May 19th, 2007, Aaron asked me to marry him during the most perfect and most "us" proposal ever! Planning our wedding has been (okay, while stressful at times) such a magnificent experience! We're going to have our gorgeous, elaborate dream wedding in Boca Raton, Florida on May 23rd, 2009. Aaron graduated from UCF with a master's degree in accounting and begins work as a CPA in August of this year in Fort Lauderdale. Our next big adventure together, aside from planning our wedding, is buying our first home! We're both really excited!
I'm always so excited to see what our future holds together.
